Firmware updates for MetaAlti are as simple as dragging the firmware file below onto a USB drive. Follow the steps shown in the instructional video below:


Firmware Version 1.7 (September 25, 2026)
Back-end utility update: adds factory test and diagnostic tools. No change to how the altimeter behaves in use. Also includes the 1.2 ground-zero fixes for elevated landing zones, and the FDS Altis app reports the live firmware version.
